What Are We Doing?
Our Mission
To provide a foolproof road safety system using existing resources optimally.
We assume that road safety problems can be addressed through planning, community mobilization and better management without involving additional resources with optimum use of the existing resources or with minimum additional resources allocation and/ or with Public Private Partnership (PPP).
Our Main Objectives
The project has four main objectives:
- To devise a Prototype Model for Smart Public Transport (SPT) System with integrated transport approach, using existing resources, and by proposing smart parking solutions for reducing traffic congestion.
- To design a centralized command and control center for integrated transport operations and transport data management.
- To gauge on-road air pollution to reduce vehicles’ carbon emission.
- To launch campaigns for advocacy, lobbying and legislation for Road Safety after systematic social research on commuters’ behavior.
